Who are we hiring?
• The Elevator Operator is responsible for greeting and welcom ing guests to Madison Square Garden while maintaining the integrity of all levels serviced by the assigned elevator.
What will you do?
• Greet s and welcome s guests to Madison Square Garden while maintaining the integrity of all levels serviced by the assigned elevator.
• Assists high profile guests and patrons when entering and exiting the elevator.
• Assists guests and patrons with disabilities
• Prioritizes guest pickups with/without direction from supervisor.
• Informatively answers guests' questions concerning Madison Square Garden amenities and operation.
• Monitors radio communication for and rapidly responds to any emergencies.
• Ensures only staff or guests with proper credentials gain access to restricted levels.

• Articulate with excellent hospitality, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work professionally as a team player in a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Will have the ability to solve problems, have conflict resolution skills, and handle customer situations in a highly sensitive , heightened and urgent environment ; comfortable working with large crowds
• Maintains a professional manner, presence, and appearance always while on premises/duty.
• Prior Arena/Theatre and elevator operating experience preferred.
• Must be a member or join 32BJ SEIU
• Must be able to pass and maintain certification in a comprehensive alcohol management program .
• This position is part time and is scheduled based on events.
Special Requirements
• Must be able stand for long periods.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and move about the venue throughout the duration of the shift.
Hourly Pay Range
$25.86 - $25.86 USD
