Job Description
The Associate HR Business Partner is a generalist role that delivers a proactive, flexible and friendly HR service to the Singapore studio by providing relevant, appropriate and consistent support and advice to all employees and managers, driving best practice and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and employment legislation. This role also assists GHRO managing the HR inbox ranging matters concerning Benefits, Immigration and Visas, International Assignees, Orientation and assisting with Employee Relations across the organization.

Responsibilities:
• Support the objectives of the business by working with the Manager, HRBP by providing human resources leadership and guidance
• Interpret awards & understand local legislation, including flexible work practices
• Manages and fields queries coming into the hr-sing@ilm.com inbox in conjunction with GHRO
• Assists GHRO/Training Coordinator with New Hires/Rehires/Departing Employees
• Assist Manager HRBP/Training Coordinator with Training Programs and initiatives
• Participate in training with Training Coordinator and/or HR Team
• Supports GHRO & Training Coordinator as required
• Manage and review the succession plan on a yearly basis with Manager, HRBP
• Roll out/implement and assist with training development
• Manage benefits and wellness programs within the Studio
• Manage all Audit Requirements and Monthly HR Reports
• Develop and update studio policies and practices
• Liaise with all departments of effective practice and approaches aligned to Disney/Lucasfilm policies
• Manages Exit Interviews (Supe & Below) Picks up on employee temperature via exit interviews, regularly communicating back to the Manager, HRBP with employee trends with recommendations to improve employee relations, engagement and performance etc.
• Oversees Employee Benefits with GHRO
• Align policies and practices to encompass inclusive environment
• Participate and manage ERG's development and growth
• Be a DISCO Member
• Act as change agent and identify opportunities for change and advocate change to enhance client group/business unit success. Provide subject matter expertise and education to client group on effective change management
• Manages Performance Management Process (Supe & Below) keeps Manager, HRBP informed/updated on all Performance Management Cases
• Mentors and counsels when required
• Manage merit budget aligned to contract extensions. Advise Leaders on appropriate merit offers
• Liaises & builds networks within the Studio (Support & Production)
• Ensure that HR is Visible, Vibrant and has a positive impact across the Business
• Keep abreast of changes in employment law and best practice by attending seminars and reading legislation updates and make necessary changes to HR policies, liaising closely with Disney HR to ensure consistency and to validate changes. Make recommendations to improve HR processes and procedures as necessary in light of legislative changes
• Make it your responsibility to know what your employees are doing across the Studio. You could find the support you'll need to make your work more fun, with much achieved
• Attend communication meetings (Studio, HR, Training, DISCO, Training, etc) as and when requested, allowing you the opportunity to express your views and ideas - use the chance
• Come up with innovative and new ways to recognize our team, aware that not everyone's the same
• Undertake HR Projects as required

Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrates a positive and 'can do' attitude to work, always embracing tasks with an enthusiasm drive to get things done
• Able to build a strong rapport with employees at all levels
• Demonstrate high levels of self-organization, particularly during times of high workload
• Maintains high levels of accuracy and attention to detail when under pressure

• Proven ability to effectively manage a demanding and fluctuating workload
• Works effectively without direct supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced use of MS Office including Word, Excel, Google Mail (& programs) and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SAP beneficial/Workday
• Knowledge of DocuSign and ProSoft

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience of working within a Global organization beneficial

Required Education
• Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience within HR
• 5 years' experience as a Human Resources Coordinator/Advisor within a similar industry
• Previous experience of working within a fast-paced, creative industry delivering high levels of service
