Job Description

Overview:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Ticket Sales, the Group Sales Account Executive must be able to adapt to the broad range of clientele attracted to baseball, including but not limited to corporate executives, business groups and individual fans. The Group Sales AE is responsible for direct sales of all Angels' ticket packages with a concentration on group sales and suite rentals.

This position is also benefit eligible including: medical, dental and vision insurance, 13 paid holidays, sick days, vacation accrual (2 weeks vacation), tickets to games, 401K eligibility after 1 year of employment (employer matching and safe harbor) and additional perks not listed above. The expected hourly rate for this role is $20.19 ($42,000/annual). This role is eligible for commissions that can range from $14,000 to $25,000 in a 12 month period based on meeting sales performance goals.

Responsibilities:
• Outbound and inbound telephone and direct sales of group sales, single game suite rentals, new season seats, mini plans, premium seating, and ticket packages
• Follow-up and the sales conversion of inbound online leads on various ticket segment offerings
• Attend networking events to grow awareness of the benefits to partnering with Angels Baseball
• Prospect new group buyers, theme nights and new business revenue sources
• Achieve seasonal sales and revenue quotas, per ticket segment
• Achieve weekly phone call and talk time quotas
• Work some game days including staffing designated sales and service locations, assisting with special events, on-field performances, and visiting attending clients
• Provide weekly reports on sales and prospecting, as necessary
• Executes all new ticket purchase contracts and approvals, collects all payment due, including any installment payments amounts due and executes the timely transfer of purchase contracts to the ticket office for processing
• Evaluates demand for ticket products, including pricing, service level, and guest purchase experience; advises Sr. Director of Ticket Sales & Services of strengths and opportunities

Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-3 years professional selling experience in the sports and live entertainment industry; Direct Group Sales experience preferred
• Self-driven, motivated and results oriented
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow through
• Possess a positive attitude, integrity, ambition, and an extraordinary work ethic
• Proven record of consistently exceeding sales goals
• Experience or working knowledge of Tickets.com Provenue ticketing platform and Salesforce preferred
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must be technologically literate and able to use/learn a variety of computer programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, ProVenue and Salesforce
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and non-traditional business hours

Physical Demands:
• Ability to frequently sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally work in inclement weather (when in stadium)
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
