Role Description

The VP Operations & Finance, Touring (EMEA) will report to the Presidents, Concerts EMEA and the EMEA Touring team to promote tours and-one off shows across a broad range of artists, in venues around the world.

The position will be responsible for coordinating with promoters, internal departments, and external companies to effectively manage finances for tours with an aim to maximize revenue generated and deliver timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities
• Support all buyers/promoters in the EMEA team throughout the project life cycle.
• Liaise with all divisional departments regarding financial/budgeting and operational issues; report directly to President, Concerts Europe and assist on all operational/financial matters.
• Liaise with local promoter operations/finance staff in all markets in EMEA region regarding financial show/tour settlement matters.
• Coordinate with US team to align departmental efforts with global tour objectives.
• Liaise with client representatives regarding legal, taxation and financial issues.
• Oversee/review business plans/proposals for all projects managed by the team; coach/train the team touring manager in all budgeting matters.
• Oversee show/tour settlement processes and tour reporting for all divisional projects; coach/train the team finance manager in all settlement/reporting matters.
• Oversee/review all internal/client reporting throughout project and upon tour completion.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of the European/International settlement database.
• Manage hedging strategies for all projects to mitigate foreign currency risk; prepare client analysis and project free cash for placement of hedges.
• Oversee and manage departmental cash flow for all projects.
• Implement sales analysis to monitor trends and identify risk areas; alert management/operations to identified risks and propose solutions.

• Knowledge of stadiums, arenas, theatres, and clubs
• Ability to work spreadsheets and databases – good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to plan & organize own workload
• Ability to establish and develop relationships within the music industry
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to interact with people at all levels of business understanding
• Some travel within Europe may be required
