THE TEAM

The LiveAnalytics team is a market-leading data analytics provider focused on innovation and unlocking the power of data for our clients.

THE JOB

The VP of Business Development will drive client revenue, planning, strategy and execution for the team. The individual will be responsible for understanding marketplace needs at the segment and client levels, in order to prescriptively leverage Ticketmaster's unmatched data and analytics of live events consumption through ongoing engagement with partners. In addition, this individual will also work extensively with various internal stakeholders to best position the robust capabilities of the LiveA team. It is expected the role will manage the Business Development team as the Sales Leader. Finally, the individual will work closely with Team's Analysts and Architects conveying needs and goal's of the marketplace, for the purpose of aligning products and process between Clients and the Team.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Develop sales strategies to monetize data assets.
• Develop and maintain business across a wide range of segments and client types.
• Prescriptively prepare, present and close business with new and existing clients.
• Manage revenue projections and reporting across products, segments and individual clients.
• Work with LiveA product team to align products and services with client needs and goals.
• Develop and optimize the sales process and tactics.
• Regularly engage in Ticketmaster client planning and pitches as data is an integral aspect of Ticketmaster's partner acquisition.
• Frequently represent Team at Industry and Client conferences.
• Collaborate with other Premium Service Leaders to strategize complementary opportunities.
• Manage business development team, including hiring, training, goal-setting and daily management.

TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Proven success as a Sales leader with experience leading, coaching and developing a team
• Experience consulting and problem solving with clients
• 15+ years of collective Sales and Sales Leadership experience. Experience with Analytics products, services, consulting a plus.
• 10+ years of Live Event industry experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and client-facing communications skills
• Ability to communicate data & analytics products and benefits to clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Preferred strong contact base of live event industry
• Ability to travel 25-75% of time.
