Role Description

Live Nation UK's Marketing Partnerships Division is looking for a VP of Brand Strategy.

This new role will help us develop breakthrough ideas and new platforms for prospective and existing brand partners through the power of live music and Live Nation's arsenal of assets across live events, social media, data, content and more. You'll get to flex your 'art + science' skills, blending strategy, storytelling and our proprietary research to solve brand's business challenges in collaboration with the Marketing & Creative Solutions team and senior leadership. You'll also help our SVP Marketing & Creative Solutions shape commercial vision and guide us into the future.

It is an exciting, fast-paced team that collaborates with all facets of Live Nation's business including venues, festivals, ticketing, artists, content, digital/social media, promotions, and concert production. The Marketing & Creative Solutions team, our in-house strategy and creative experts, work in tandem with the sales team to form strategy, big ideas and business solutions for brands. Through needs analysis, fan insights, exhaustive research of the client and their audience, as well as internal ideation sessions, the team ultimately craft a strategic music marketing platform designed to reach brand's business objectives and KPIs. The programme concept is transformed into a visually stunning creative presentation highlighting Live Nation's arsenal of assets. No cookie cutter concepts, no copy and paste, just inspiring and fresh ideas alongside innovative vision designed to maximize brand reach and engagement through the power of live.

What the role includes
• Ownership of brief for special projects - from understanding objectives, to gathering the right data and insights to build foundation, to project brief authorship and presentation, to helping shape and guide the work in collaboration with core team members. The SVP Marketing & Creative Solutions will offer guidance and oversight in some cases, and partnership in others.
• Lead immersion and ideation sessions with prospective / existing clients, driven by fan insights and designed to develop a brand's role in music and long term Live Nation partnership
• Manage our in-house research & insights team and drive the roadmap of key research studies and initiatives based on commercial goals and marketplace trends to drive business and long term value to strategic partners
• Provide strategic framework for long term partners and develop comms strategy that brings ideas to life throughout the complete fan journey and across multiple platforms
• Collaborate with the Marketing & Creative Solutions team and other stakeholders to push the possible whilst understanding execution and measurement feasibility (timelines, budgets, stakeholder considerations, etc)
• Collaborate with SVP Marketing & Solutions and leaders across the team on:
• Competitive investigation and analysis
• Launching initiatives that promote Live Nation as a forward-thinking strategic partner and marketplace leader year round
• Positioning Live Nation for today; responding quickly to trends and culture
• Shaping vision for the future

Who you are

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Depth of experience in:
• Marketing strategy (agency experience a strong plus)
• Authoring concise and impactful briefs and presentations (internal and client facing, crucially)
• Working with and driving qualitative and quantitative research
• Turning data and research into a compelling story that focuses output
• Comms strategy to help teams expand ideas across multiple platforms and touchpoints throughout the music fan journey
• Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills; strong presence
• Knowledge of and passion for marketing trends, culture, music, tech
• Line management experience focusing on professional development
