Job Summary:
The IT Assistant supports the technical infrastructure of the venue during live events and daily operations. This role focuses on maintaining reliable connectivity, ensuring the performance of network systems, providing on-site technical support, and assisting with audiovisual and point-of-sale systems. The ideal candidate is resourceful, thrives in fast-paced outdoor environments, and is passionate about live music and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
• Network & Connectivity
o Set up, monitor , and troubleshoot Wi-Fi networks and hardwired connections for staff, vendors, and production teams.
o Ensure connectivity for ticketing, point-of-sale (POS), artist hospitality, and live stream areas.
• On-Site Technical Support
o Respond to tech support requests from staff, production, artists, and vendors.
o Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for laptops, tablets, printers, and other essential gear.
• System Maintenance
o Maintain venue IT hardware including routers, switches, POS terminals, surveillance systems, and AV interfaces.
o Assist in the installation and takedown of temporary tech setups for events.
• Event Support
o Provide real-time support during live events, including resolving connectivity or equipment issues under pressure.
o Support live streaming or recording setups if applicable.
• Inventory & Documentation
o Track IT equipment inventory, usage logs, and maintenance records.
o Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions for future reference.

Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in live events or entertainment environments.
• Familiarity with networking hardware, POS systems, and basic AV equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather and terrain.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with ticketing or POS platforms (e.g., Square, SpotOn , Ticket Master, Front Gate).
• Understanding of temporary power and cabling solutions for outdoor events.
• Basic knowledge of livestreaming equipment and platforms.

Work Environment:
• Fast-paced, outdoor, and often loud environment.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
• Requires walking long distances and standing for extended periods.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.66 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
