Tour Accountant

Objective of the position

As part of the Australasian Tour Accounting team, based in Australia, assist in budget creation and settlements of concerts and tours across both New Zealand and Australia. This role is based in Melbourne Australia with flexibility to work out of our CBD office or remotely from Home.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities of role
• Preparation of concert/tour settlements
• Coding and approval of show related invoices
• Management and reconciliation of tour cash float expenses
• Venue settlement processing and coding
• Artist fee settlements, withholding tax and payments
• Placement of cancelation insurance
• Provide Management Accountants financial information for month end reporting
• Project reconciliation
• Coding and approval of show related invoices
• Assist in preparation of budgets

Who and what are we looking for?
• A good communicator and team player, with initiative and time management skills.
• Interest in the music, concert and events industry, any previous experience would be advantageous but not essential.
• An eye for detail and good experience with excel spreadsheets.
• Previous experience in an accounting function of some kind, qualification is not essential.
