Job Description
THE JOBThis position assists the Sr. Talent Buyer with necessary aspects related to booking. This includes office administration, contract administration, venue, show settlements. This is a full time (40 hours per week), position.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Provide daily support to Booking Department and occasionally handle show settlements.
• Execute artist contracts and riders: amending agreements per LN logistics; returning to artist's agency
• Liaison between Live Nation, artist representatives, third party venues and co-promoter partners
• Prepare pre settlements as needed
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
• Prepare and execute night of show event settlements as needed
• Calculate artist taxes and prepare tax certificates
• Coordinate, prepare and settle with third party buildings and any co-promoters when needed
• Processing of artist contracts, deposits, and insurance certificates when needed
• Processing of venue agreement and insurance certificates when needed
• Communicate & Coordinate with the local office and accounting team on all financial related items as related to settlements/flash reports
• Research marketing strategies for future shows. Including – but not limited to – compiling:
• affinity lists, lists of publications to advertise on, and lists of locations to flyer based on the target audience
• Distributing show flyers and posters in appropriate retailers per audience demographics
• Track internal and external data on excel. Including – but not limited to:
• ticket counts for upcoming shows, tour histories, finance flashes, stats on developing artists, contact logs
• Manage show files: ensuring all essential documents are present prior to day of show (i.e. headliner and support contracts, W-9s, and riders
• Data entry
• Submitting monthly expense reports
• Various projects as needed
• Other administrative duties as assigned
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Strong adaptability to learning new computer programs
• Strong organization skills
• Must be able to read and interpret ticket audits
• 2+ years of contract review
• Solid communication abilities, experience sharing ideas/needs with all levels of venue and artist representatives
• Adaptable with work hours, supporting weekends and holidays as needed
