Working Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm, with extra weekend on-site working throughout the festival season as required. Onsite hours are 8am – 8pm

Role Description
An essential position within the sustainability team, you'll play a key role in supporting the team to achieve Live Nation's goals and vision set out in our Green Nation Sustainability Charter. You will be working across multiple shows and festivals as an essential member of the team to implement sustainable initiatives. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual who loves festivals and all things green. This position will report to Live Nation's Head of Sustainability for UK & Ireland.

We champion sustainability across the organisation, offering advice and support to a number of events and departments. Working closely with our suppliers and stakeholders, you will be an integral member of the team to help plan, deliver and evaluate festivals that meet our sustainability goals.

Who you are
Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Organisation, administration skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Festival or events experience.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work across multiple projects.
• Full or provisional driving license is preferred for operating buggies onsite at festivals.
• Experience working or volunteering in events or production is desirable.
• Experience in a sustainability role is desirable.

What the role includes
• Organising and attending planning meetings, note taking, recording actions updating sustainability action plans, assist with the implementation of the sustainability action plan across multiple teams / events.
• General administrative support and submitting purchase orders.
• Research into sustainability initiatives, products and suppliers.
• Assist with the development, advancing and implementation of sustainability initiatives and plans.
• Assist with the recruitment of volunteers: coordinate registrations, database (Eventree and Excel spreadsheets), communications, rosters and onsite management.
• Coordination of applications for charity groups to salvage after the event and the onsite operation.
• Assist with overseeing all logistics coordination of green initiatives at the festivals, liaising with relevant departments and suppliers to deliver their requirements for power, waste and water etc.
• Communications: assisting writing copy for websites, newsletters, programmes and green policies and information to be sent to contractors, staff, caterers, etc.
• Gather and monitor environmental data from contractors and stakeholders.
• Assist with report writing and carbon footprint calculations.
