At Live Nation, we're passionate about transforming live events and creating extraordinary moments for artists, event professionals, and fans.
About the role:
We're looking for a confident and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our Global Internal Audit team, supporting our Australia and New Zealand operations. Working across Live Nation's diverse portfolio, you'll assess financial, operational and SOX controls, while partnering with the business to strengthen risk management and governance practices.
Working closely with colleagues across the Global Internal Audit team, you'll lead and deliver audits end to end, build a strong understanding of business processes across multiple entities, and provide clear, practical insights that support continuous improvement. With opportunities to travel across ANZ (approximately 20–30%) and partner with teams throughout Live Nation's operations, this is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable leading audit activity while collaborating effectively across the business.
If you're based in Sydney or Melbourne and you think you have what it takes, we'd love to hear from you, please apply with your resume as well as a cover letter, outlining why you're the perfect candidate.
What you'll be doing:
• Audit leadership: Lead internal financial and operational audits from planning through to reporting across Live Nation businesses.
• SOX oversight: Test, evaluate and review Sarbanes-Oxley controls supporting the Group's accounting and financial reporting processes.
• Risk & control insight: Build a strong understanding of business processes, identifying key risks and control improvement opportunities.
• Quality review: Review workpapers and audit documentation to a high standard, providing guidance and constructive challenge where required.
• Stakeholder engagement: Communicate audit findings clearly with senior stakeholders, gaining alignment on practical action plans.
• Team contribution: Coach and support junior team members while collaborating closely within the Global Internal Audit team.
• Continuous improvement: Contribute to risk assessments, audit planning and ad-hoc reviews that add value to the business.
What you'll bring:
• Professional expertise: Qualified accountant with 2–3 years PQE and at least 5 years' relevant experience in audit, risk or controls.
• Audit leadership capability: Proven experience leading audits end to end, including planning, fieldwork, issue development and reporting.
• SOX knowledge: Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley environments, ideally within complex or multinational organisations.
• Stakeholder confidence: Ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, communicate clearly and influence outcomes.
• Analytical mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think laterally and deliver practical, commercial solutions.
• Delivery focus: Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working autonomously while maintaining high standards.
• Systems & tools: Strong MS Office skills, with exposure to Oracle or US-listed environments advantageous.
• Industry interest: A genuine interest in live entertainment, music or events, with prior industry experience highly regarded.
The Benefits:
• A vibrant, music-focused workplace fostering creativity and collaboration.
• Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
• A flexible approach to when and where you work, designed to support balance in all aspects of life.
• Access to concerts, events, and other entertainment perks.
• A diverse, equitable workplace where every voice matters.
• Comprehensive benefits, from volunteer days to wellness programs and mental health support.
Equal Opportunities:
We are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion. You will be working in an inclusive environment and be encouraged to bring your whole self to work. We will do all that we can to help you successfully balance your work and Homelife. As a growing business, we will encourage you to develop your professional and personal aspirations, enjoy new experiences, and learn from the talented people you will be working with.
