En tant que développeur senior II, vous travaillerez pour l'équipe de la plateforme TM1 à la prestation de plateformes d'applications interentreprises qui seront utilisées par chaque client et partenaire d'affaires de Ticketmaster. Vous participerez activement à l'élaboration de solutions globales et à la conception de l'architecture des systèmes dont votre équipe est responsable.
Au sein de l'équipe de la plateforme TM1, vous serez responsable du développement et de la conception de composantes d'applications entières ainsi que des projets de l'équipe de direction. Comme vous travaillerez de façon autonome avec une supervision minime, vous tirerez parti de votre vaste expérience et de votre expertise technique pour proposer de nouvelles solutions et idées et stimuler l'établissement de relations avec vos pairs dans différentes équipes et divers bureaux.
Vous utiliserez, d'une part, vos compétences et votre expérience pour prendre des initiatives, résoudre des problèmes et surmonter des obstacles et, d'autre part, des techniques de dépannage pour atteindre les objectifs du service. Vous transformerez itérativement la plateforme d'identité pour l'aligner sur les pratiques exemplaires actuelles tout en introduisant et en promouvant de nouveaux schémas d'intégration plus simples.
Vous représenterez l'équipe à titre d'expert technique et travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les gestionnaires des produits concernant la planification et les exigences des caractéristiques. Un important volet de cette fonction consiste à anticiper les besoins de l'équipe ainsi qu'à orienter et à encadrer les personnes afin d'influencer la culture et de susciter une amélioration continue. Vous travaillerez avec un vaste éventail de technologies dans le cadre de nombreux projets et ferez partie d'une équipe DevOps & Agile responsable de la prestation intégrale de nouvelles fonctionnalités, notamment par le test et le soutien à la production.

In the role of Senior Developer II, you will work for the TM1 Platform team on delivering an B2B applications platform that will be used by every business clients and partners of Ticketmaster. You will actively participate in overall solution and architecture design of the systems supported by your team.
Under the TM1 Platform team, you will be responsible for owning the development and design of entire application components and lead team projects. While working independently with minimal supervision, you will rely on your wide-range of experience and technical expertise to propose new solution, ideas and foster relationships with peers in different teams and offices.
You will use your skills and experience to take initiatives, solve problems, resolve roadblocks and advanced troubleshooting techniques in order to fullfill the service objectives. You will transform the Identity platform iteratively to bring it inline with today's best practices while introducing and promoting new and simpler integration patterns.
You will represent the team as a technical expert and work closely with the Product Manager on feature requirements and planning. An important part of this role is to anticipate team needs and guide & mentor individuals in order to influence the culture and drive continuous improvement. You will work with a large variety of technologies on multiple projects and will be part of an DevOps & Agile team, responsible of the full end to end delivery of new functionalities, including testing and production support.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Design and develop a data-driven UI application surfacing large volumes of data
• Architecture a simple, scalable, maintainable, ticketing-system agnostic, reliable and reusable data ingestion pipeline allowing clients and integrations to leverage fans and transactions data
• Plan stories and iterations to achieve product goals and roadmaps
• Be accountable of your team's performance
• Mentor engineers and promote motivation
• Develop on a Java Spring Boot stack
• Develop on AWS and Kubernetes
• Ensure high quality through automated tests
• Interact with Product, UX and other internal development teams to develop features
• Define strategy to maintain and modernize legacy code and services
• Automate testing, deployments, performance and recovery
• Inspire developers by providing new ideas or concepts
• Help coordinate the effective use of the team ensuring optimization of overall team
• Seek to build relationships and partners with internal and external team members
• Help build consensus
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES)
• 5+ years of development experience
• 5+ years of experience w/ Agile methodologies
• 3+ years of working full stack
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps
• Elite/Strong data processing and ETL development skills
• Strong backend development skills
• Significant experience with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka
• Demonstrated experience applying Design Patterns and SOLID principles
• Experience mentoring and/or leading fellow engineers
• Experience with modern UI framework such as React or Angular
• Experience with mobile application development such as React Native
• Experience with BI platform (e.g Looker) is an asset.
• Java, Springboot, Maven, Gitlab CI
• Experience with production
• Working knowledge of one or more database products (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, Snowflake)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with remote team members
• Bilingual: French, English
