THE JOB
The Event Staff and Security at the Xfinity Center is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service, crowd control, searches at our entrance gates, and helping to maintain a high level of safety at our venue. All employees must adhere to established COVID-19 safety regulations and procedures.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Provide a customer friendly environment.
• Greet and assist guests to seating area and offer other services as needed.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
• Search and screen individuals to prevent passage of prohibited items into the venue.
• Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
• Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met and to provide a positive and safe experience for all.
• Alert guests of venue rules, as well as report any infractions or violations.
• Write reports of activities and irregularities such as guest incidents or ejections, equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors gates.
• Provide general assistance to guests and other staff members to promote an environment in line with the core values of Live Nation.
• Assist in post-show cleanup of assigned area within the venue.
• Other duties as assigned by Security Manager or supervisor
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior customer service experience a plus
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
• A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Available to work nights and weekends with the opportunity for additional hours on non-event days

The expected compensation for this position is:
$15.0 USD - $18.50 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
