Location: Farringdon, London with hybrid working flexibility

Reports to: Management Information Analyst

Working Hours: Full time (Monday and Thursdays, 9am start time essential - otherwise, flexibility can be considered)

Role Description

An exciting opportunity to build your career in reporting and analytics whilst working with data related to some of the biggest artists and tours in the world. You'll be providing ticketing focused reports and provide management information (MI) to support business decision-making within the largest concert promoter in the UK.

We are looking for someone with technical skills who likes to create real impact in an operational environment, predominantly working with non-technical colleagues. Someone with a drive for efficiency who understands the intricacies and importance of reporting, automation and analytics and can marry that with an understanding of business context as a whole.

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Extensive experience of creating and issuing reports for a variety of end-users is essential.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of using MS Excel to an advanced level is essential.
• Demonstrable experience with a combination of SQL, SSRS or Power BI (other data visualisation or database coding languages would be considered).
• Excellent numeracy skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
• Clear & concise written communication skills.
• Previous experience of working within a dynamic business within the music or entertainment industry would be a bonus.

What the role includes
• Deliver, manage and improve daily and weekly SQL and Excel-based ticketing reports for distribution to the wider business
• Proactively support the simplification and standardisation of reporting processes to identify improvements to increase reporting capability and efficiency
• Identify and implement task automation and process improvements for the ticketing team that result in increased efficiency for ticketing managers
• Maintain data integrity throughout ticketing databases (EOS/HALO) to ensure accurate reporting
• Critically assess current reporting code base in SQL, SSRS & Power BI to ensure code is standardised and performance is maximised
• Ensure there is no disruption to reporting (both internally and externally to the wider music industry) when we launch our new in-house ticketing inventory management system
• Deliver small to medium size reporting & business analysis projects
• Support Business Analysis team in any other duties as required & provide cover in their absence
• Assist Event Ticketing team with any reporting, processes or general administration as required
