Job Description

THE JOB
As the Receiving Coordinator, you play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate receipt of all incoming deliveries into the warehouse. Your meticulous verification of items for quantity and quality, and their strategic placement in specified areas of the warehouse using the forklift or motorized pallet jack, directly contribute to the warehouse's efficiency. Your daily review of incoming shipments on the log, inspection of received products to ensure they meet quality standards, and supervision of the proper storage of products and order boxes, tape, and other supplies required in the warehouse, are all vital to maintaining the warehouse's operations.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Manage receiving and inventory of all incoming materials physically in the warehouse.
• Load/unload trucks and trailers and move boxes and pallets into place.
• Physically inspect products for damages/defects and log appropriately
• Monitor and maintain required shipping and receiving records.
• Maintain appropriate equipment and racking to ensure safe storage of all products,
• Implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
• Manage inventory location assignment and space utilization. Ensure materials are correctly stored to conserve space.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ensure accurate inventory management.
• Count product on request
• Pack, palletize, and wrap outgoing shipments as needed.
• Prepare all paperwork for shipments, BOLs, shipping manifests, etc.
• Routinely evaluate receiving, shipping, and stocking procedures and recommend changes to improve efficiency.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Experience in a similar role
• Forklift certified
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control principles
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience in or knowledge of the music and entertainment industry, artist merchandising a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND TIME REQUIREMENTS
• In our warehouse environment, we prioritize your comfort and safety. While there may be some noise and variation in temperature, including exposure to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer, we ensure a supportive and secure work environment.
• 8-hour workday; variations in work volume sometimes require extended working hours.
• Ability to lift and lower 50 pounds to a height of 5 feet.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (4-5 hours).
