THE JOB
PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ is seeking an Operations Assistant (Part-Time/Seasonal) to support day-of-show venue operations. Work hours are driven by the concert and event schedule and do not follow a traditional weekday or daytime workweek. This position is expected to start late March/early April.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for key show-day functions including event preparation, assisting with guest concerns, and upholding our venue's service and safety standards throughout the event.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Work directly with the Operations Manager to perform day-of-show operational duties
• Respond to elevated guest and staff inquiries related to shows, VIP programs, meet-and-greet packages, amenities, and seat upgrades
• Prepare and assist with all tour VIP programs
• Resolve guest concerns related to security and guest services, turning challenges into positive experiences
• Follow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure service standards are consistently met
• Perform opening, running, and closing duties in accordance with venue policies
• Maintain line-of-sight and atmosphere control by circulating through assigned areas and reporting issues
• Stay current on Standard Operating Procedures and communicate them effectively to staff
• Create and distribute pre-shift, day-of-show communication to crew members
• Complete incident reports and collect witness statements as required
• Assist the Security Manager with ejection logs and incident documentation
• Support the Payroll and Scheduling team as needed

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
• Experience working in a live music or event-driven environment
• College coursework or degree in a related field
