THE JOB
The National New Membership Sales Director will focus on the management and fulfillment of marketing tactics and best practices to attract potential membership candidates to all venues as well as tailor offers, prospecting campaigns and brand activations for national / local B2B partnerships that drive value to our VIP membership and partner account stakeholders. This position will play a vital role with delivering unmatched client service, new business prospecting efforts, and large client activation opportunities. Consistent alignment with the National Sales Director and Head of VIP Services on all the applicable accounts and initiatives will be critical for success.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assist in setting new sales targets by market and road map for incremental sales with elements including planning, execution, reporting, and proactively resolve any challenges with asset delivery or fulfillment
• Strategically generate B2B leads through independent research and discovery by market or national presence.
• Create added value channels for existing members through national and city specific lifestyle partnerships
• Develop inbound and outbound marketing plans through membership content, venue offers, email campaigns, social media buys and SEO strategies to generate multi -city leads
• Maintain satisfaction checks for all large corporate accounts and multi-venue accounts
• Support in planning of all on-site activities for venues, festival pop -ups, custom concert event outings, artist experiences, and hospitality programs as it pertains to new sales prospecting events
• Create added value experience events, engagement touchpoints and annual offers for venue members, corporate accounts, prospecting accounts and partners
• Maintain and develop leads from the Ticketmaster (TM) database, website inquiries and internal referrals
• Serve as the key point of contact for all collateral pieces and activation efforts for new sales initiatives, work closely with the CRM team and internal CRM system for on-going strategy testing and insights
• Provide sales administration support to membership renewal teams and executive leaders as needed
• Maintain and develop client relationships & leads through meetings, regular phone calls and additional event non-business meetings.
• Lead new sales meetings throughout the year, in-person/via Zoom (mid-season reviews, end of year recap/B2B renewal discussions, etc.) including the development of presentations for meetings and prospects by venue
• Continuously strengthen day-to-day client relationships through exceptional client service, detailed knowledge of client's industry and business and impeccable program fulfilment
• Develop and grow relationships with key Live Nation teams (i.e., Digital and social media, Promotions, Marketing, Talent, Legal, Finance, Research, etc.) to ensure the desired program delivery and results for new all initiatives and new sales clients
• A lead role in the utilization of Sales Force and related best practices within the sales department.
• Travel as required to meet business needs and commitments
• Additional duties as required, including out of hours and weekends.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Background & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years of work experience in a corporate sales environment, client service experience, media or entertainment, and/or marketing consulting, lifestyle sales, sales advertising or activation agencies
• Quick learner with strong analytical skills and detail oriented with exceptional creative judgement
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, prioritize, organize, and coordinate simultaneous tasks/projects
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service & sales goals
• Ability to think through and solve complex issues
• Growth mindset with proven track record for trying new, innovative approaches
• Self-starter and solutions-driven
Qualifications & Skills
• Superior project management skills including managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation
• A proactive, collaborative, and organized working style
• Proven ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Ability to quickly adapt and adjust projects to new division expectations and company directives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Salesforce, CRM Software
• Strong passion for music, including knowledge of current/relevant artists and industry trends
