In this role you will be responsible for helping us to grow our reporting and analytics capabilities.

THE ROLE

The Business Analyst will assist the Marketing Measurement product lead in gathering requirements, data and product validation, and liaising with the external teams. The perfect candidate is as obsessed with how the data is collected as he or she is with the data itself. This position requires someone with strong analytical and statistical skills, with a solid knowledge of digital marketing in the Ecommerce space. The primary products of this team are data sets presented as tables at a very large scale. This role will involve daily feats of SQL acrobatics, swimming deeply in data, and a forbearing spirit on mixed metaphors.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Work with Product, Engineering and Users to implement new data products, as well as utilize data and user feedback to suggest improvements to existing products
• Monitor the performance and stability of the Measurement Platform, lead triage efforts when an issue is detected, and generally assist with the day-to-day operational support.
• Working with stakeholders, subject matter experts (SME), developers, and QA/UAT testers to validate new data sets and/or new features in existing data sets
• Define and implement internal dashboards used for monitoring data quality and availability
• Participate in requirements meetings to compile and document requirements and specifications for new features or data products
• Collaborate with division business analysts, data services and other functional teams as needed to provide analysis across multiple areas of the business
• Take an active role in the data collection processes to identify and solve inefficiencies
• Serve as a support resource to both technical and non-technical stakeholders providing documentation and guidance

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in STEM or Business) or 3+ years of relevant, progressive experience is a plus but not required
• Minimum experience of 2-3 years of business experience in online/digital companies handling and analyzing large data sets to successfully drive conclusions
• Expert proficiency in data retrieval, assembly, and manipulation using SQL
• Strong Excel skills - must be comfortable analyzing large quantities of data utilizing Excel, create complex formulas, pivots and develop models
• Demonstrated flexibility with working arrangements that blend in-person and remote collaboration across multiple geographic locations
• A strong mind on the accessibility of data for a broad spectrum of consumers
• Innate willingness to roll up your sleeves and see tasks through to completion
• Proficiency with cloud services for large datasets such as AWS Athena or Google Big Query a plus
• Working knowledge and application of a dashboard/analytical toolkit (Domo, Tableau, Databricks, Google Data Studio, Jupyter, Looker, etc)
• Preferred, 2-3 years in an Agile environment
• Preferred, experience with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence)
• Detail oriented and meticulous about product quality, stability, and documentation
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw insights then present findings to internal stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills with technical, non-technical audiences and executive audiences
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and handle shifting priorities.
