We're seeking a strategic and hands-on marketer to play a key role within Venue Nation at Live Nation Australasia, leading marketing across some of Australia's most loved live music venues including Anita's Theatre, Fortitude Music Hall, The Triffid and The Outpost.
Reporting to the National Marketing Manager, the Marketing Manager QLD/NSW role takes ownership of the marketing strategy and execution across QLD and NSW, translating national direction into impactful local campaigns while also driving venue-led initiatives that grow audiences, deepen engagement and strengthen each venue's reputation.
You'll lead campaigns across shows, premium experiences, memberships, F&B and sponsorships, while also owning CRM, digital channels, paid media and performance insights. Working closely with internal stakeholders, promoters, agencies and a Marketing Coordinator, this role suits someone ready to step into broader ownership and influence. If you think you have what it takes, we'd love you to apply with your resume and a cover letter outlining why you're the perfect fit for this role.
What you'll be doing:
• Lead venue marketing strategy: Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across multiple venues, aligning national direction with strong local activation.
• Campaign ownership & execution: Oversee campaigns from announcement to post-campaign reporting, including self-promoted shows, premium experiences, F&B and memberships.
• CRM & digital leadership: Own venue CRM activity, including segmentation, automations and lifecycle journeys, driving acquisition, retention and conversion.
• Paid media & performance: Manage paid media activity alongside agencies, ensuring briefs, reporting and optimisation align with overall marketing goals.
• Insights & reporting: Analyse campaign performance, customer data and industry trends, delivering clear insights, KPI reporting and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Budget management: Manage venue marketing budgets, tracking spend, forecasting costs and ensuring accurate capture for final settlements.
• Team & stakeholder leadership: Guide and support the Marketing Coordinator while collaborating with Bookings, PR, Venues, Finance, Sponsorship, Product and Development teams.
• Brand & channel oversight: Oversee and optimise venue websites and social channels, ensuring consistent, timely and effective content across platforms.
What you'll bring:
• Marketing experience: At least 5 years' experience in marketing within events, venues, entertainment or a closely related industry.
• Integrated campaign expertise: Proven success delivering multi-channel campaigns across digital, CRM, paid and owned channels.
• CRM capability: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (ideally Braze), including automation, segmentation and customer journeys.
• Analytical mindset: Strong ability to interpret data, extract insights and use performance metrics to inform decisions.
• Commercial acumen: Experience managing budgets, timelines, agencies and creative workflows with confidence.
• Leadership skills: A collaborative and supportive approach to leading and developing others.
• Stakeholder confidence: Comfortable working with multiple internal and external partners in fast-moving, event-driven environments.
• Adaptability & pace: Thrives under pressure, juggling competing priorities with a positive, can-do attitude.
The Benefits:
• A vibrant, music-focused workplace fostering creativity and collaboration.
• Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
• A flexible approach to when and where you work, designed to support balance in all aspects of life.
• Access to concerts, events, and other entertainment perks.
• A diverse, equitable workplace where every voice matters.
• Comprehensive benefits, from volunteer days to wellness programs and mental health support.
