Job Description
General Summary
The Marketing Assistant will provide day‐to‐day support to the Marketing Manager, as well as the Casinos Marketing Team.

Responsibilities:
• Assist Marketing Manager with executing and maintaining marketing plans, including strategy, budgeting, paid media and promotions at client properties in various markets across the US; this will include artist research and acquiring/ ordering/ proofing/ trafficking advertising materials
• Assist Marketing Manager with creating and maintaining various weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual show performance trackers and recaps
• Assist Marketing Manager with scheduled and daily client interaction, weekly conference calls and meetings
• Assist Marketing Manager in working with band management/publicist to obtain approval for press requests such as phoners, in studio appearances, photo passes, etc. for each show
• Work with Marketing Manager and Property PR team to write press releases for local media distribution and artist biographies for online outlets, including casino webpage
• Manage print, billboard, digital banner jobs with client management workflow systems
• Manage website builds and updates with client management workflow systems
• Manage social media content calendar and work with clients on posts/giveaways/content, street team campaigns, and ticket giveaways
• Manage Marketing Manager's calls and messages in a professional and organized way
• Research and keep up‐to‐date with assigned areas' relevant events/concerts, media outlets, websites, blogs, radio stations, radio playlists, and demographics
• Internal teamwork, meetings, recapping and strategy
• Provide general administrative support – organizing show files, budgets, ticket counts, calendar management, mail, invoices, etc.)
• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree or professional experience equivalent
• Experience in marketing, advertising, communications and digital advertising preferred
• Passionate about the music industry, including extensive knowledge of national music scene and artists in order to provide solid support
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good telephone skills; good listening skills; share information appropriately, with tact and diplomacy
• Experience with client management preferred
• Provide exceptional customer‐service to clients
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Detail oriented and able to perform job accurately and thoroughly
• Reliability – able to see tasks, ideas or projects through, from start to finish, as well as meet deadlines and budgets
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding planning and organization skills – use organized approach to job responsibilities and able to multi‐task and set priorities
