IT Trainer - MS Sharepoint and Teams
- 12 months FTC (Mat Cover)

Location: London, UK (potential need for occasional short-term travel)

Division: Ticketmaster International – Interntional IT

Line Manager: Snr Director IT Service Delivery, IT International

Contract Terms: Fixed Term, 40 hours per week . Maternity Cover

THE TEAM

The IT Service Delivery team is responsible for ensuring that the computer users across the Live Nation Entertainment International region can work effectively, securely and continuously by providing desktop and workplace IT support services and tools aligned with business need and expectation.

THE JOB

There are always new desktop technologies being introduced across the Live Nation Entertainment businesses (Ticketmaster and Live Nation). This requires the userbase of up to 3000 in 20+ countries in the EMEA region to become confident and competent in their use. A blended approach towards training delivery alongside excellent communication and coordination skills. Is critical to assure the successful delivery of this change.

The focus of current change, driving training projects, has complementary drivers. The pandemic has driven a major change in working styles, with far more employees working remotely and with hybrid working styles certain to continue in the future, and these working styles demand the acceleration of the strategic IT drive towards a fully cloud-based set of user services.

MS Sharepoint(O365) is being rolled-out to replace legacy file servers, providing true ''anywhere, anytime, anyplace'' accessibility to documents and data for the userbase. MS Sharepoint will also be promoted as a beneficial alternative for Box, Dropbox and GDrive to all businesses. Additionally, MS Teams, from the same O365 stable is also in increasing usage for collaboration within LNE and it is anticipated that training in Teams will be required too.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Reviewing current MS Sharepoint (primary) and MS Teams(secondary) training provision and materials for suitability and enhancing as appropriate
• Manage the scheduling and invitation to training sessions for end-users in sync with the MS Sharepoint technical migration project (and subsequent MS Teams activity)
• Deliver measurably effective training in multiple format offering – webinar/on-line, drop-in, bite-size video, ''How-To'' guides in LearnIT portal and classroom if required
• Share Zoom/Sharepoint best practices (from a user perspective) for files/document storage based on previous experience to drive the recommended ways for Sharepoint to be used in Live Nation Entertainment
• Develop communication strategy and execute comms accordingly, generating excitement and demand for training
• Measure success of training via proactive post-training surveys, and from support ticket content and volume
• Provide regular updates and stats to the IT (and other stakeholder) leadership group.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• MS Sharepoint as a cloud-based document/file and data solution from an end-user best practice standpoint
• Similarity/differences between MS Sharepoint and traditional file server platforms (from a user perspective) to be able to support the user journey from old to new
• Creation of Training Programmes and materials - ability to research and self-discover solution functionality in conjunction to create relevant training assets for multi-channel delivery, recognising the specific LNE environment subject to the ''as-is'' and ''to-be'' environment
• Experience of enabling users to navigate through change successfully - transitioning a userbase to successful adoption of new technologies and process
• Broad technical understanding of typical desktop user environments to provide context where relevant
• Working knowledge of data security and governance frameworks
• Excellent communicator with proven ability to create/present training material and management reporting
