The venue hosts over 200 shows a year, with a focus on up-and-coming electronic talent. Paired with state-of-the-art lighting & sound, Soundcheck creates an experience cherished by music enthusiasts. Since 1999, Club GLOW has cultivated the dance culture of Washington DC and beyond. Club GLOW has become a powerhouse brand on the East Coast over the past two decades. As the longest-running electronic dance promotion company on the East Coast, Club GLOW is known for supporting some of the industry's biggest names as they got their start and continues to support up-and-coming talent through its bookings at Echostage, Soundcheck, Moonrise Festival, and Project GLOW Fest.

THE ROLE

Glow is looking for a General Manager to provide venue management at Soundcheck. This is not a remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for all cash deposits, resetting banks and change, as well as atm
• Scheduling all staff positions
• Responsible for staff announcements as well as staff marketing
• Responsible for staff performance
• Orders all miscellaneous office and venue materials
• Responsible for hiring and firing alongside VP Ops
• Check outs and station assignments
• Payroll for Soundcheck alongside VP ops
• Answers all info@soundcheckdc.com queries

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree or related experience
• 3+ years of experience in venue management
• 3+ years of management experience is required, including managing, developing and leading teams as well as optimizing and reorganizing teams to most effectively meet business needs
• Proficient technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments
• Must be willing to travel to work and travel to events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work events
