The role:

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for month end processes, reconciliations and reporting for a number of entities, as well as play a key role in liaising with auditors and provide on-going support to the team. Immediate start is available for this position.

Key responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly GST lodgements for Australian and New Zealand companies
• Prepare monthly sponsorship journals, review expenditure and reconcile variances
• Prepare monthly and adhoc overhead journals
• Manage the month end process including roll forward, monthly journals and revaluations
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations across Live Nation's Australian and New Zealand companies
• Perform roll forward workpapers across Live Nation's Australian and New Zealand companies
• Assist with audit requirements from the internal and external auditors
• Prepare intercompany matrix across all Live Nation entities
• Assist with monthly reporting requirements
• Ad-hoc reporting and tasks as required

Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and working towards CPA/CA
• 2-3 years of work experience in accounting role with exposure to end of month processes
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work under pressure, in a team and autonomously
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication
• Ability and willingness to meet business-critical deadlines
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with Oracle ERP system and BI Tool is preferrable, but not essential.
