Role

An essential position within the digital marketing department, you'll play a key role in the ongoing management, development and direction of our websites and web-based products and services. You will support the team goal to grow reach, engagement and appeal to the business's demographics and requirements. The role requires a natural self-starter to liaise with the wider communications structure to work to deadlines and optimise the platforms.

What you'll be doing
• Day-to-day running of multiple company websites and associated websites, products and services to create a best in class user experience
• Update images, text and website content as provided and directed in a time-critical manner, create new pages, functions, features, testing and edits as required by the department
• Ensure all content and ticket links are timely, up to date, accurate and SEO effective
• Work with the wider team to facilitate changes and updates to all websites, products and digital services including custom components, page creation and additional site content
• Support the digital marketing manager to explore and identify new developments to increase website traffic, conversion, dwell time and engagement
• Support SEO programmes and strategies
• Ensure use of all analytics tools and tagging management to track the experience of users, allowing for analysis and further optimisation
• Monitor, measure and report daily/weekly/monthly to the digital marketing manager and head of PR and brand communications on all key website metrics and performance, to track success
• Work towards targets and KPIs as directed by the digital marketing manager
• Support the wider team with all broader campaign strategies
• Interface between internal and external teams for regular updates, including testing, security, hosting and website maintenance and new release requirements
• Integrate and recommend briefs and define technical and UX requirements for website design, function and best practice
• Actively contribute and provide recommendations, planning and initiatives for site improvement and development, website roadmaps and design
• Manage any external data sources via APIs
• Train any wider team members in system functionality and integrations
• Work with external agencies and internal development teams within the organisation as required
• Work with the head of PR and brand communications and department to launch future websites, products and services
• Troubleshoot and report technical issues
