The Role:

Moonbug Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Publishing Income Tracking & Analytics Associate Director to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Sr Director of Music Label & Publishing Operations and managing the Publishing team in the UK, you will be instrumental to our growth strategy, fostering relationships, and driving revenue growth for Moonbug Music.

This person will work onsite at our London location.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the team responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis of publishing royalties, ensuring precise and complete royalty distributions by PROs, CMOs and other sources.
• Identify gaps in royalty statements or usage reports, and issue claims to recover missing or underreported usages.
• Provide detailed analysis of income received from societies and third-party income providers, resolving any potential issues that may arise.
• Monitor incoming payment of claims and follow up on unpaid claims, offering support for ad-hoc analysis tasks.
• Assist internal departments with data, forecasts, and insights.
• Initiate the development of tools to automate and scale efficiently.
• Play a pivotal role in overseeing our partnership with our global publisher, UMPG.
• Take the lead in fostering internal thought leadership and education for the Publishing team, ensuring adherence to music initiatives and best practices throughout the organization.
• Continuously explore opportunities to grow Moonbug's footprint in the music industry.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including label, finance, AV distribution, and legal, to guarantee the complete and accuracy of information to support collection.
• Manage and motivate the publishing team, fostering growth, and ensuring the successful execution of responsibilities.
