Job Description
THE TEAM
The Strategic Initiatives & Operations team sits within Corporate and reports to the Chief Strategy Officer. Our team focuses on high-impact projects that span corporate functions (e.g., HR, Finance) and business divisions, with a strong emphasis on the North American concerts business and cross-business-unit initiatives.
We tackle a wide range of projects, including revenue growth strategies, operational improvements (e.g., in-venue technology innovation), benchmarking and performance analysis (e.g., festival performance reviews, venue performance reviews), and mergers & acquisitions. Additionally, we work on the company's annual strategic planning process, support Board of Directors communications, and develop the annual investor deck.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a high-performing, pre-MBA associate with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset. This role will split time roughly 50/50 between (1) supporting the VP and Director on Corporate Strategic Initiatives & Operations projects and (2) supporting the Director in their work with the Artist Nation Management Group (ANMG). This is a high-visibility role with exposure to senior executives and critical company initiatives.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:
Corporate Strategic Initiatives & Operations (≈50% of time)
• Conduct market sizing and build financial models to evaluate growth opportunities
• Perform data analysis and modeling to identify key business trends and inform decision-making
Artist Nation Management Group (≈50% of time)
• Support ongoing operational, reporting, and governance needs for ANMG and individual artist management groups.
• Provide analytical and project support to both the Director and CSO on ANMG business development and M&A efforts, including valuation, due diligence, and preparation of materials for negotiations and governance
• Develop executive-level presentations for senior stakeholders
• Work directly with the team's leadership (from Directors to the Chief Strategy Officer) on key strategic initiatives
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• BA/BS degree required
• 2-3 years of post-undergraduate experience, ideally from management consulting, corporate strategy, and/or investment banking
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including:
• Market sizing (e.g., estimating total addressable market)
• Data analysis & modeling (e.g., cohort analysis, benchmarking analysis)
• Financial modeling, including building and analyzing P&Ls (e.g., scenario/sensitivity analysis)
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create executive-level presentations
• Experience in M&A or negotiation is a plus, but not required
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for music and live entertainment
• The ability to be in-person at our Beverly Hills office
