Job Description:

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team within the Construction Development division. The Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the financial processes related to construction projects, ensuring accurate financial records and contributing to the success of our dynamic construction development team.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Finance:
• Process invoices, expense reports, and payables specifically related to construction projects.
• Conduct regular reconciliations for construction-related payments, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.

Construction Accounts Receivable:
• Assist in the preparation and issuance of client invoices specific to construction developments.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables related to construction projects.

Record Keeping for Construction Projects:
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for construction projects, adhering to accounting standards.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements related to construction developments.

Construction Expense Management:
• Reconcile corporate credit card statements and employee expenses associated with construction projects.
• Verify construction-related expense reports for policy compliance and accuracy.

Support for Construction Audits:
• Collaborate with the finance team during internal and external audits related to construction projects.
• Ensure adherence to audit and regulatory requirements specific to construction developments.

Construction General Ledger Entries:
• Contribute to the preparation and entry of general ledger transactions specifically for construction projects.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to construction finance.

Construction Financial Analysis:
• Assist in analyzing financial data specific to construction projects and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency within construction development.

Ad Hoc Tasks for Construction Development:
• Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects specifically related to construction development.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall efficiency within the Construction Development division.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
