Job Description
C3 Presents is currently searching for a Vac Technician Manager to join their team! The Vac Tech Manager will work in conjunction with the USFO team and client to ensure successful operation of vacuum toilet systems.
On some project they will be the main point of contact for the client and lead technician at the site USFO attends with Sanitrax equipment.

Responsibilities:

Live Nation Amphitheaters:
• Manage and deploy site assets
• Manage the install and removal of the water infrastructure equipment at targeted amphitheaters at the beginning of the show season. (Tip trucks, install gear, tie in system, test system, teach/instruct amphitheater operator the basics of the system operation)
• Train amphitheater staff on how to correctly operate the equipment as needed
• Work with the Manager, review procedures and processes and make changes where needed
• Operate equipment and ensure that it runs properly throughout the duration of the job. Troubleshoot repairs and decide best course of action as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance during the season including re-booting each venue at the beginning of the season and other service visits as needed
• Perform service visit maintenance in the event of an issue that cannot be solved remotely
• Perform site visits as required to determine plan for feasibility and layouts of vac installs
• Maintain detailed reports of services completed at each venue
• Keep track of parts used and parts needed at each venue

Festivals:
• Manage and deploy site assets
• Manage the install and removal of the water infrastructure equipment. Unload, install, tie in, and test vac systems
• Train and assist in managing local labor to watch the pumps during the festival
• Operate equipment and ensure that it runs properly throughout the duration of the job. Troubleshoot repairs and decide best course of action as needed.
• Perform vac repairs as needed
• Rinse and strike system at end of show
• Ship gear to next location or holding area

General:
• Respond to emails and calls promptly
• Support warehouse operations at the when in town
• Perform other duties related to vac work as needed

Qualifications:
• At least 3 years' experience in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred
• Experience as a team lead and in training
• Strong mechanical skills and understanding of mechanical systems with ability to evaluate issues and fix them
• Fabrication experience (wood, steel, aluminum, plastics) highly preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems
• Knowledge of music festival design, capacities, and methods is highly preferred
• Knowledge of crowd flow metrics, egress metrics, fire code and capacities is highly preferred
• Must work well under pressure
• Must possess strong task management abilities
• Self-motivated is a must
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Must be very organized and disciplined with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Constant drive to learn more, improve, and better oneself as well as the company
• Must be able to work on multiple projects at once
• Must have good spatial reasoning and be able to envision layouts that haven't yet been built
• Interpret CADs, specifications, or diagram to perform installation, development, or operation activities.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Must be willing of extensive travel with a project-based schedule
• Serve as front line customer service while out on jobs and maintain a positive attitude; be the face of the company on the road
• Personable and always have a professional demeanor and appearance -- especially in stressful situations
