THE JOB
Live Nation is seeking a Back of House Assistant for the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre. The position will directly report to the venue Backstage Facility & Hospitality Manager. The Back of House Assistant will be responsible for providing physical labor to help build, clean, and maintain areas designated for tour use. This is a seasonal, hourly position. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business needs and may be scheduled up to 40 hours per week or more during peak season.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• In partnership with the Backstage Facility & Hospitality Manager, the Back of House Assistant is responsible for following directions and providing exceptional hospitality service to the touring crew.
• The Back of House Assistant will meet and maintain backstage hospitality expectations & cleanliness.
• Back of House Assistants will do pre-show and post-show walk throughs with a checklist to prepare, set up, and tear down the artist & tour crew areas, and will notate any damages to be repaired.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING (MUST BE 18+ TO APPLY)
• Must be able to maintain composure around high profile artists/guests and work in an often hectic and loud environment.
• Must have strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Must Possess a positive outlook, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage others.
• Must possess problem-solving skills, and the ability to find creative solutions.
• Has a natural interest in helping others, and a heart for service.
• The ability to maintain constant physical activities such as walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying furniture.
• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
