A&R Coordinator

Job Description

THE ROLE

The Core Entertainment, an enterprise within Live Nation Ent., is seeking a skilled A&R Coordinator to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of the music industry, including sync licensing, A&R, and music publishing. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Pitching songs from our writer/producer division
• Organizing artists' catalogs and pitching songs the artists don't want to release themselves
• Pitching for sync opportunities across the roster
• Ideating on writes for the writer/producer division
• Confirming writes with all publishers across the roster 24-48 hours before with all pertinent information
• Updating and monitoring calendars across the roster
• Chasing demos after sessions
• Uploading pitch received with all relevant writer info and lyrics to WRIOS
• Listening through outside pitch and seeing where songs fit across the roster
• Pulling streaming/consumption numbers for releases across the roster weekly
• Sending in potential artist, writer, producer prospects that are buzzing whether it be because of traction or talent (on label, management, and publishing side)
• Having intro calls to collect demos and info on prospective clients
• Keeping all roster sheets and company information up to date (pub lines, PROs, team contact info – attorney, business manager, tour manager, label team, publisher team, etc)
