Job Description
Summary of Position

The Sr. Manager, HRIS reports into the SVP, Compensation & HRIS and will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of HR technology systems and analyze HR processes to identify opportunities to streamline and improve HRIS. Additionally, this role will oversee data management and ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. The Sr. Manager, HRIS will also play a crucial role in training HR staff and employees on how to effectively use the system to maximize its benefits for the organization.

Responsibilities
• System Implementation: Lead the implementation of new HRIS software or upgrades, including coordinating with vendors, IT teams, Finance/Accounting and HR staff to ensure a smooth transition.

• Configuration and Customization: Customize the HRIS to meet the specific needs of the organization, including setting up user permissions, workflows, and data fields.

• Data Management and Compliance: Oversee the integrity, accuracy, and security of HR data stored in the system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

• Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to HR staff and end-users on how to effectively use the HRIS, including creating user guides and conducting workshops or webinars.

• System Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain the HRIS software, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement patches or fixes as needed to ensure optimal performance.

• Reporting and Analytics: Develop and generate reports and analytics from HRIS data to support strategic decision-making by HR and organizational leadership.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency using the capabilities of the HRIS, working closely with HR and other relevant stakeholders.

• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with HRIS vendors, including negotiating contracts, evaluating new features or upgrades, and resolving any issues or concerns. Partnering with IT to forecast annual HRIS spend.

• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the HRIS and identify areas for improvement or optimization to better support the organization's HR goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Skills
• 5+ Years of HRIS Experience: Prior experience in HRIS administration, implementation, or related roles demonstrates proficiency in managing HR technology solutions and understanding of HR processes.

• Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and derive insights for optimizing HR processes and making informed decisions regarding HR technology.

• Project Management: Lead implementation projects, requiring skills in project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure successful deployment of HRIS solutions.

• Data Management Expertise: Required skills in data management, including data entry, validation, cleansing, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS.

• Experience with Integrations: Familiarity with integrating HRIS systems with other enterprise systems, such as payroll, IT or ERP systems.
