Summary of Position
The Motion Picture Group at Lionsgate is entering into a new phase of transformation driven by opportunities to improve colleague experience, raise productivity, and increase collaboration across the division. As a Project Manager, you will work on projects focused on modernizing how we make movies and support cross functional teams. As a core member of our internal team dedicated to transformation, you will be responsible for the support and optimization of existing processes and systems with a primary focus on end-user experience. This role will work alongside a growing department of critical thinkers, strategists, innovators, and people engineers who are solving some of the studio's biggest challenges. It is an opportunity to deliver tangible value inside the industry's largest independent motion picture studio. Responsibilities
• Partner with the business process owners to obtain business requirements for transformation projects
• Develop and manage project plans with resource requirements
• Manage multiple projects and resources to coordinate all aspects of implementation and delivery of tasks necessary for successful project execution
• Define project success metrics and identify any roadblocks hindering the ability to meet predefined success metrics
• Creation of process flows (''as is'' – ''to be'')
• Coordinate with Organization Change Management in alignment with the ''to be'' state
• Provide project status updates (on schedule, on budget, roadblocks, path forward, etc.) to stakeholders and leadership
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and project team members
Qualifications and Skills
• 5-7 years' experience as a Project Manager
• Passionate about user experience and a commitment to exceeding expectations
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
• Growth mindset – the ability to map complex processes, build out a business case
• Must be highly motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-pasted environment
• Must be detailed, well organized, self-motivated, and proactive
• Experienced with project management tools and processes
• High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, creative decision-making, and technical problem- solving abilities
Nice to Haves
• Professional certifications or equivalent educational experience in project management, design thinking, and agile/scrum principles
• Experience in film or television is a strong bonus, but equivalent skills from software or hardware technology or engineering are also helpful
• Financial and accounting acumen
