Job Description

Responsibilities
• Lead the strategy, development and execution of all marketing initiatives at the retail level, including:

• Title exclusives (unique packaging, gifts with purchase, digital content, etc.) – strategize pricing, create selling guides, work with creative for design, coordinate manufacturing with Ops

• Promotions – work with sales reps to create seasonal and opportunistic promotions, brief creative services on assets needed to execute (signage, corrugate displays, in-store AV spots), work with marketing to ensure brand consistency/approvals

• Marketing assets - partner with retailer’s marketing channels and secure placement on social media channels for Lionsgate assets

• Maintain master asset tracker for top accounts to make sure all teams stay on track with retail specific deliverables (Signage, GWPs, special packaging/steelbooks, social assets, AV, etc.)

• Attend weekly calls with the digital and packaged sales teams to brainstorm retail opportunities, marketing programs and overall sales trends

• Maintain comp studio calendar to identify opportunities for promotions and title releases

• Serve as general hub between sales teams and marketing (disseminate updates of marketing strategy to sales teams on weekly calls, help sales navigate marketing’s geography when assets/title info is needed)

• Prepare and present sales decks and assets for retailer business reviews

• Perform store checks at major retailers to see how our items are merchandised and share with team

• Host weekly calls with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas and make sure assets/deliverables stay on track

Qualifications & Skills
• Studio level experience preferred; and/or training; and or/ a combination of education and experience

• 5+ years of experience in consumer packaged goods

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Passionate, energetic individual who has demonstrated knowledge of keeping up with fast-paced retail environment

• The successful candidate must be highly motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented and display strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to go above-and-beyond without being asked, eliciting critical thinking with recommendations for process and strategy improvements

• Project management with attention to detail, highly organized, imaginative with ability to articulate concepts

• Experience collaborating with internal teams such as Brand Marketing, Sales Planning, Creative Services and Operations

• Possess highly creative and innovative capabilities

• Ability to present to business partners and upper level management

• Computer skills with proficiency in Excel Word & PowerPoint

• Familiarity with all Home Entertainment Distribution types, including EST, TVOD, SVOD, AVOD, Packaged Media and Non-Theatrical

• Widespread knowledge of the film and TV industry and an enthusiast for film and TV content (both current and historical)

• A confident and professional written and phone demeanor is a must
