Summary of Position
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Director, Global Marketing Strategy, Library and Distributed Partners to handle all aspects of Marketing for select titles. This position supports the SVP in designing Lionsgate's annual catalog release plan to maximize library performance and profitability in line with performance goals set for the Division.
Responsibilities
• Division's primary point of contact with assigned Third-Party Distribution Partners, including:
• Overall business plans, updates & quarterly reviews
• Title release plans for all formats/windows
• Trade, retail & consumer marketing plans, assets and budgets
• Title performance (for priority titles & special releases)
• Develop promotional partnerships and execute consumer campaigns supporting retail accounts.
• Review forecasting and data tools to create sound strategies and refine/optimize tactics.
• Direct and supervise execution & evaluation of media buys, PR efforts and Social campaigns.
• Create and manage financial budgets for all projects & promotions coordinated with business plan objectives.
• Approve all campaign assets for release to consumers and retail, including: metadata, trailers, spots/pre-roll, photography, copy, etc.
• Provide post-analysis of performance and execution.
• Create and present marketing decks to all levels within the organization (including company executives) and external partners (including international distributors).
• Evaluates catalog performance biannually, compiling best practices, tactical wins and key learnings for divisional education & improvement
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or similar discipline preferred; 10 years of marketing experience required; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in the Entertainment, theatrical, home entertainment or videogame industries
• 4-6 years' experience managing direct reports
• Ability to go above-and-beyond without being asked, evoking critical thinking with recommendations for process and strategy improvements
• Self-directed, efficient and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a professional and confident manner under tight deadlines
Nice to Haves
• Agency and/or Retail experience is a plus; direct experience in catalog brand marketing is a plus
• Familiarity with all Home Entertainment Distribution types, including EST, TVOD, SVOD, AVOD, Packaged Media and Non-Theatrical
• Widespread knowledge of the film and TV industry and an enthusiast for film and TV content (both current and historical
• Possess highly creative and innovative capabilities
