Summary of Position
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Coordinator for IT. This position entails working with both the CIO and the Head of Procurement on managing their calendars and priorities, and assisting the IT department with procurement and budget tracking. This position will support both the CIO and the Head of Procurement by scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and processing expense reports. This position is also responsible for organizing and managing departmental ''all hands'' meetings including assembling presentations, budgeting, and catering. This position will have the opportunity to support other IT activities including testing new system features, documenting applications, and preparing training materials, and there is an opportunity to learn departmental tools like Monday.com, Tableau and even coding skills, if interested.
Responsibilities
• Administration tasks for two busy executives including, but not limited to, scheduling meetings, and coordinating activities for the IT department. Coordination can also include helping with the setup of large cross-departmental meetings for additional IT and Procurement executives, as needed
• Track IT expenditures against the annual IT budget and work with IT management on departmental procurement including entering purchase requisitions for goods and services into the SAP system, entering goods receipts and coordinating paperwork (including invoices) which will be sent to Accounts Payable for payment
• Track invoice payment by A/P to ensure that vendor payments are timely. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment and coordinating responses with A/P
• Budget tracking including helping IT management track purchases and payments against that budget throughout the year. Help IT management ensure that invoices are coded to the appropriate project codes
• Upload all IT agreements into Legal document management system
• Work with IT teams to collect and report monthly statistics
• Assist IT team with testing, creating training materials and other activities related to development of IT systems
Qualifications and Skills
• Excellent administration and coordination skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Calendar
• Proficient in Excel for tracking and budgeting
• Basic understanding of invoice processing and vendor management
• Basic understanding of IT cost categories (hardware, software, license subscriptions, circuits, etc.)
Nice to Haves
• Basic understanding of accounting fundamentals and terminology (direct/indirect costs, capex/opex, accruals vs cash basis, amortization, chargebacks etc.)
• Experience with managing department budgets
• Experience with financial accounting systems (SAP)
• Experience creating presentations with PowerPoint or similar tools
• Experience with Monday.com
Compensation
$47,000 - $50,000
