Coordinator, Accounts Receivable (Theatrical Distribution)

Summary of Position

The Lionsgate Theatrical Distribution department is seeking an entry-level candidate to support Accounts Receivable functions for Lionsgate Theatrical releases in the domestic US market. Candidate will work closely with the Theatrical Sales department to facilitate the release of major motion pictures to theaters, invoice accounts, and apply payments. This role offers tremendous learning opportunity for a highly-motivated self-starter, with exposure to many aspects of the theatrical release cycle and theaters across the country.

Responsibilities
• Invoice and collect film rental and related revenue from Theater Circuits for theatrical releases such as John Wick, Hunger Games, and Expendables.

• Apply film rent payments from Theater Owners and Circuits in TDS system.

• Audit and process box office reports.

• Reconcile trial balances, audit payment terms and revenue calculations.

• Collaborate with Sales team in weekly meetings to review and report account status and payment information.

• Review and recommend credit status changes.

• Audit and process credit refunds, as needed.

• Strategize and execute collection initiatives and holds for upcoming theatrical releases.

• Complete all necessary payment applications and reconciliation for month-end reporting.

Qualifications and Skills
• 0-1 years of experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Receivable or Collections preferred

• Bachelor's Degree, with coursework in Business or Accounting or related field preferred

• Proficient in MS Office suite, with advanced experience in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables),

• Successful candidate must be analytical, highly motivated, detail-oriented, and an organized multi-tasker, with confident and professional communication skills,

• Prior industry experience is a plus, with a passionate interest in Film and Entertainment

Compensation

$45,000- $50,000
