Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Candidate would also be part of a new generation of video journalists expected to also know how to produce entire newscasts when needed, giving reporters a bigger picture of how their stories play into an entire day of coverage. Reporters are expected to build their interaction with followers online throughout the day with a digital-first mentality. Candidate should not only handle, but expect curveballs in story assignments and be ready to go live at any point.

Qualifications:

The qualified applicant will have a college degree with previous experience in a newsroom as a reporter, photographer, and/or video journalist. Must have a valid drivers' license and be insurable. Ideal candidate must have experience going live on television.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and/or carry and manage news photography and lighting equipment. You are also frequently exposed to outside conditions.
