Job Summary/Description:

KWQC-TV6 (NBC), a Gray Media Group company and the #1 station in the Davenport, IA-Rock Island, IL DMA has an opportunity for a Marketing Associate for the Sales Dept.

A. Assures that sales processes including orders, commercial instructions, make-goods and other related paperwork are input promptly and accurately in order to maximize revenue and inventory utilization.

B. Works closely with Sales Management to prepare sales research pieces, presentations and recurring report data. All of these tasks must be completed with a high level of accuracy.

C. Works collaboratively with sales and sales management to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement and optimization.

D. Maintains internal relations with specific regard to morale while reflecting and projecting a desirable image of KWQC and the sales department.

E. Assists the Sales Management staff with all assigned tasks and responsibilities that pertain to achieving station goals and objectives. Understands that being willing to ask for help can be as important as providing it.

Qualifications/Requirements:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required.

EXPERIENCE: Administrative experience and some knowledge of media advertising preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to multi-task, maximize time-management skills, deliver clear and quick communication and be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

This position is fulfilled with daily interaction and collaboration with the account executives and directly reporting to sales management. A positive attitude to achieve team goals and support others is essential.
