Job Description
KUTV is seeking a dynamic Digital Specialist who will work with the existing KUTV Sales Management and the Digital team to ensure all digital objectives, including internet and mobile, exceed or meet company revenue growth goals. This person will become an expert in Sinclair's digital capabilities and be able to, in working with the existing staff, deliver unique and valuable digital solutions to new and existing clients within the team environment.
Job Duties:
• Meet with full Sales staff and Digital team regularly to provide support and feedback on digital platform integrations or opportunities for our customers
• Meet with vendors and potential vendors to improve existing and develop new programs as well as find and develop new initiatives and programs to advance the digital team
• Maintain high level communications with current Digital Sales Manager and corporate management, sales staff, as well as vendors
• Handle one-off Digital based projects as assigned in a project management role
• Report into Digital Sales Manager and Director of Sales
What skills do you need to be successful in our role?
• Responsible for training all new sales professionals and any ongoing training
• Ability to support and inspire sales professionals in a team environment
• Assist in managing the Digital Team in creation of fulfillment reports/recaps, database management, and sales report maintenance providing oversight of Digital Sales Coordinator
• Assist in inputting and maintaining of orders, including revisions due to campaign changes
• Efficiently work with the team of Marketing Consultants / Management team
• Working knowledge of new media, digital interactive initiatives, social media and content
• Hands on experience developing and selling digital tactics and new business as a skilled negotiator and motivator in front of clients
• Passion for contributing to a Digital/Sales team with a positive mindset
• Effective relationship building, customer service, communication, presentations, and negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of the changing landscape of integrated marketing
• Back-up to the Digital Sales Manager
• 3-5 years digital experience and college degree preferred
