Multimedia Journalist / Sports Anchor

Job Description

KTVO is looking for a Multimedia Journalist/Sports Anchor. Your responsibilities as an MMJ will include reporting, shooting and editing news and sports, enterprising story ideas, developing contacts, interviewing coaches, creating content for the web as well as other responsibilities as assigned. This position also includes anchoring and producing sports for our weekend newscasts as well as a fill-in sports anchor during the week.

You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet, social networking sites and mobile phones, in addition to television.

Skills and Experience:
• Sharp news judgment
• The ability to tell an NPPA style story
• Excellent technical skills
• The ability to work well independently
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Some experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Experience with live shots is preferred
• Experience with Live-U is a plus
