KTIV, Siouxland's News Channel, is the award winning, dominate NBC affiliate located in Sioux City, Iowa and serves viewers in NW Iowa, NE Nebraska, and SE South Dakota. KTIV News 4 is a breaking news and weather station covering local, original stories in the tri-state area.

Job Summary/Description:

KTIV in Sioux City, Iowa, has an immediate opening for a Full-Time News Videographer to work independently and as a member of the news team.
• We are looking for a creative photojournalist to join our award-winning news team. The ideal candidate can shoot, write, and edit stories for newscasts and operate live equipment. Must be able to grasp new technology, troubleshoot technical issues, and communicate well with others. This job also requires flying our station drone as a licensed drone pilot. The station is willing to provide the right candidate training to secure FAA credentials to use a drone for broadcast news. This is not an on-air position, but this photojournalist will do more than just shoot video. He/she will be required to contribute news ideas and independently cover stories as directed by management, including breaking news, meetings, sports, and general assignments. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to work behind the scenes with an award-winning news team.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• The successful candidate must be able to deliver great video daily in our very competitive market. A degree in Journalism or related field is preferred. Applicant must be physically able to lift and operate field equipment (camera, tripod, etc.) Experience with non-linear editing, shooting and news writing is preferred.
