Job Summary/Description:

Are you an aggressive, seasoned journalist with an unending passion for news, ready to help lead a newsroom?
KTIV, the #1 Station in Sioux City, Iowa seeks a career-minded journalist with strong leadership skills to join our award-winning team as Assistant News Director.

You will drive News 4's editorial process, constantly guiding our multi-media journalists, producers and videographers to develop news content on all platforms, managing a continuous flow of information to web and social and local news broadcasts.
We are looking for a proactive person who shines at showcasing our content, whether it's a special project or daily breaking news. You must have excellent writing skills and producing skills and news judgement. You will work closely with the News Director and Web Team to ensure comprehensive coverage on all platforms.

Qualifications/Requirements:

◙ This is a senior newsroom leadership position, perfect for an aspiring News Director. A college degree in broadcast news/journalism or related field and significant producing, writing and newsgathering experience in a commercial newsroom is preferred.
