DAKOTA NEWS NOW is an award-winning television operation serving viewers in the eastern half of South Dakota as well as portions of southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa. Job Summary/Description:

DAKOTA NEWS NOW is seeking to fill the role of Local Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will help our talented Multi-media Account Executives create solution-oriented campaigns that connect local advertisers of all sizes to audiences across multiple screens. The LSM must be engaged and strategic, with an ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with the entire sales team as well as management team, creating a high-performing, fun, and successful team-based environment.

Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Manage and lead team by participating in client meetings, building relationships with top clients and being active in the community
2. Drive profitable growth through management & oversight of ad inventory across core site and audience extension networks
3. Ensure team understands and utilizes Digital & Broadcast tools & resources to ensure effective Marketing campaigns
4. Work alongside current Sales Management team in cultivating & promoting a positive, successful culture
5. Remain current on industry trends in the digital space; e.g., mobile, display, CTV, SEM, email marketing and social
6. Review and approve new insertion orders in WO Traffic

Qualification/Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in digital marketing or advertising or equivalent work experience.
2. Must have proven, successful experience in Digital & Broadcast sales.
3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, yet committed to a positive team environment.
4. Strong organizational, prioritizing & leadership skills within a fast-paced environment.
5. Able to manage the decision-making process quickly, accurately, and calmly, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
6. Ideal candidate will have 4+ years' work experience in digital & broadcast media including sales management.
