Job Summary/Description:
Dakota News Now is looking for a digital content anchor/producer for its web and social media platforms. This position is responsible for writing, producing, and updating content and anchoring breaking news/live events on our television and digital products.
The digital content anchor/producer will create content (copy, video, and/or pictures) for all digital platforms. They will also approve content created by other newsroom staff, checking for spelling, grammar, and web optimization. In addition, the person will also produce and anchor reports from our NOW Desk, both on-air and on our digital platforms. This may include breaking news, live events, or daily scheduled updates. This person will also fill in as a newscast producer as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
- Solid news judgment and the ability to multitask are essential.
- You should be calm under pressure.
- The ideal candidate would be social media and tech savvy, and be comfortable delivering reports via livestream.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field of study is preferred. Newsroom experience is desired, but we will train the right candidate.
