Job Summary/Description:
The CBS7 Media Group in Odessa-Midland, TX, is seeking a dynamic Local Sales Manager. This important position on our leadership team gives you responsibility of revenue management for our station group – KOSA-CBS, KTLE-Telemundo, KCWO-The CW, My30 & MeTV, our new Spanish OTT app with 35 hours a week of local news, weather & entertainment, and robust digital products. The ideal candidate will be driven, goal-oriented, customer-focused, and organized, with the ability to coach and motivate newer and experienced AE's. We are #1 in Local TV sales & #1 in Local Digital sales. You'll be stepping into a team that knows how to win.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Create revenue-generating sales opportunities and solutions for all stations.
* Collaborate regularly with the AE's on strategy and negotiations for key accounts.
* Consistently evaluate AE performance and provide effective training.
* Meet with all AE's weekly to ensure their professional development and success.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of sales leadership experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic, Wide Orbit Media Sales & Matrix a plus.
* Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
