Job Summary/Description:

Are you ready to lead a winning sales team? We are #1 in ratings and #1 in sales. The CBS7 Media Group in Odessa-Midland, TX, includes KOSA-CBS 7, KTLE-Telemundo 20, KCWO-CW, KWWT-My Network/MeTV, CBS7.com, Oeste de Texas Hoy!, SuTelemundo20.com and more. We recently stepped out of the box and created an OTT news app providing 7 hours a day of Live local news, weather & entertainment in Spanish.

We need a General Sales Manager to lead a sales team that is used to winning. Come join our team!

The successful candidate's responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
* Develop & execute local TV and Digital sales strategies to achieve revenue budgets
* Maximize spot & digital inventory
* Train & work with Account Executives to achieve their goals
* Drive new business development
* Work closely with our Digital Sales Manager to continue growing digital revenue
* Be an active voice in our management team
* Work with the General Manager to prepare annual sales budgets

* Minimum of 5 years in sales (sales management preferred)
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in guiding, motivating, and leading a sales team
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Wide Orbit and Matrix
* A burning fire to be part of a winning team
