Newscast Director

Job Description

KOMO/KUNS in Seattle, WA is looking for a Director for our Newscast.

Responsibilities:
• Perform any production duties as assigned including:
• Direct any assigned newscasts and productions
• Maintain production studio and control room
• Floor Direct, back-up coding, and teleprompter operation as needed
• Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned,

Requirements:
• Experience Directing newscasts using automation
• Knowledge of production standards and equipment
• Familiarity with Ross Overdrive automation is preferred
• Ability to clearly give direction to supporting crew while under pressure
• Typing and good spelling skills necessary
• Ability to read and write
• College degree preferred
