About KOLO:
KOLO 8 News Now is the ABC, CW, and Telemundo affiliate television station serving the Reno/Sparks area, Northern Nevada, and parts of eastern California. KOLO broadcasts seven hours of news weekdays. We are also dedicated to serving the community through KOLO Cares, partnering with area non-profit organizations.
Job Summary/Description:
KOLO is seeking an anchor who can also serve as a multimedia journalist, Monday through Friday. We are seeking an anchor who enjoys storytelling and can help contribute content on a regular basis. This person will also help with posting news stories to the station website and social media pages.
Daily duties include anchoring newscasts, writing and posting news stories to the station website and social media pages, and editing, shooting and writing content for newscasts.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Three years of prior newsroom and reporting experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with ENPS, social media, and ARC are a plus.
- Bilingual speaker, fluency in Spanish is a plus.
