About KOLN/KSNB:
KOLN is the dominant broadcast and digital station in the Lincoln, Nebraska, DMA. The CBS affiliate is the master hub for three of Gray's Nebraska television stations, managing master control and some internal operations for its sister stations: KSNB (the NBC in Grand Island/Hastings) and KNOP (the NBC in North Platte). KOLN coordinates programming, news production, and technical operations. Synergy is key for all the departments to dominate news, sports, and weather newscasts in the Lincoln and North Platte DMAs. The sales team leverages broadcast and digital marketing tools to create tailored, integrated advertising strategies.
Job Summary/Description:
We're searching for an innovative and motivating Multimedia Sales Manager who can bring vision, strategy, and results to our multi-platform sales efforts. In this role, you'll coach and inspire Media Executives to create powerful campaigns that combine the reach of broadcast with the precision of digital-delivering real results for our clients and real growth for our stations and digital platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
What You'll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and energize a team of Media Executives to hit ambitious revenue targets, with an emphasis on new local direct business and digital advertising.
- Build and grow a pipeline of business alongside a team of Media Executives, including going on sales calls.
- Develop station sponsorship opportunities and custom client solutions that blend digital innovation with broadcast impact.
- Utilize sales tools such as Wide Orbit, Matrix, and analytics platforms for performance tracking and strategic planning
- Assist station management in inventory management, pricing, revenue forecasting, and pacing.
- Recruit, hire, and train new Media Executives and provide ongoing support with weekly sales meetings and one-on-ones.
- Create a culture of collaboration, positivity, and success-where everyone is driven to win together.
