ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) to join our existing team. The DIT is responsible for data wrangling, data organization, data protection, assisting the DP to execute the vision on set, and acting as the liaison between production and post production for any data workflow needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee digital data workflows and organization during production and ensure proper hand-off of said data to Post Production.

  • Work closely with Directors and DPs to execute the vision and image integrity on set by assisting with proper camera settings and executing first color passes as time alotts.

  • Act as liaison between Production and Post Production for any data needs by utilizing company communication tools.

  • Ensure proper data organization, redundancy and expert care in hard drive and digital card handling.

  • Track data and camera logs to maintain proper and accurate data records.

  • Jam sync cameras to external audio recorders via external timecode generators.

  • Inspect DIT equipment and hard drives for damage and maintenance.

  • Passion for current and emerging camera, computer, and display technology (4k+, Multicam, etc)


REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working on multi-cam productions.

  • Expert knowledge of various video codecs, formats, and video/camera settings.

  • Experience working with top quality DIT equipment.

  • Flexible schedule and experience working standard production hours.

  • Weekend availability is a must.

  • Positive and collaborative attitude.

  • Extreme attention to detail and organization.

  • Dependable work ethic.

  • Experience with DocuSign.

  • Electrical/utility engineering interest and/or experience a plus.


SCHEDULE

  • Full-Time Position

  • Addition hours may be needed during high production season

  • 24/7 Mentality (production hours and production pace)
